What is kimbap?

Kimbap are Korean rice rolls: seasoned rice and vegetables rolled in roasted gim seaweed. Unlike sushi, kimbap needs no raw fish and is flavoured with sesame oil. Kkoma means small: our mini rolls are ideal bites.

We serve kkoma kimbap in the evening as a starter, delicately aromatic and pleasantly light. They work beautifully before a stew or alongside jeon and gun mandu at a shared table.

Is kimbap the same as sushi?

No. Kimbap is seasoned with sesame oil instead of rice vinegar and ours contains no raw fish; the filling is vegetable-based.
